AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A STATEWIDE “BLUE ALERT” SYSTEM FOR THE SPEEDY APPREHENSION OF PERSONS ACCUSED OF KILLING OR SERIOUSLY INJURING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
This Act creates a “Blue Alert” program for the speedy apprehension of persons suspected of killing or seriously injuring law enforcement officers. This program is modeled after the “Blue Alert” programs adopted in other states, and after the “Gold Alert Program,” which is used to identify certain missing persons in Delaware
