AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 6 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS.
The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (“UETA”) is a procedural act that provides the framework for the creating of enforceable electronic contracts and validates electronic signatures. The fundamental purpose of this act is to remove perceived barriers to electronic commerce. It insures that electronic transactions are treated legally on a par with paper transactions.
