SCR 67	Passed	Hansen	The Division of Developmental Disabilities Services Task Force was established under Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 62 of the 150th General Assembly. The Task Force has met regularly since August 2019, but needs additional time to complete its work. This Concurrent Resolution extends the due date of the Task Force's final report to July 31, 2020.	EXTENDING THE DIVISION OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SERVICES TASK FORCE.

HB 283	Committee	Matthews	Current Delaware regulations provide that transportation benefits must be provided for students in grades K through 6 who live 1 or more miles from the schools to which district administrators would normally assign them. In grades 7 through 12, the same students are entitled to transportation benefits if they live 2 or more miles from their assigned public schools. See 14 Del. Admin. C. § 1150-12.1. This Act expands transportation benefits to students in grades 7 and 8 who live 1 or more miles from the public schools to which district administrators would normally assign them. This Act takes effect 1 year after enactment. It also and makes technical corrections to conform existing law to the standards of the Delaware Legislative Drafting Manual.	AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION OF PUPILS.

SB 96	Signed	McDowell	In January of 2015, the Office of Civil Rights & Public Trust was created by the Attorney General to establish a centralized office within the Department of Justice for the investigation of matters concerning civil rights enforcement and the prosecution of matters concerning violations of the public trust. This office must remain an independent entity within the Department of Justice to avoid conflicts with other Department of Justice duties and thus effectively enforce laws protecting the public trust and civil rights. Thus, this Act creates the Division of Civil Rights and Public Trust within the Department of Justice which will be separate from the other Divisions within the Department of Justice and have a Director who reports directly to the Chief Deputy Attorney General, to avoid conflicts of interest with the work of the other Divisions. This Act also clarifies the current scope of the Department of Justice’s ability to investigate and bring civil rights actions to protect the civil rights of all Delawareans.	AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE.
HB 178 w/ HA 1	Signed	Lynn	This Act reconciles discrepancies between § 8705 of Title 9 of the Delaware Code and § 2903 of Title 25 of the Delaware Code, clarifying that all taxes assessed against real estate by Kent or Sussex Counties are governed by § 8705 of Title 9 and that the date on which Sussex County considers a tax delinquent is July 1. The Act also clarifies that the duration of a lien for municipal taxes for a municipalities in Kent and Sussex Counties is 10 years unless a period greater than 10 years is provided for in the municipality’s charter.	AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 9 AND TITLE 25 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO LIENS FOR TAXES ASSESSED AGAINST REAL PROPERTY.
HCR 70	Passed	Baumbach	This Concurrent Resolution recognizes Delaware libraries for their contributions to their communities and the services they deliver to Delawareans from all walks of life, on the occasion of Delaware Library Legislative Day, Jan. 22, 2020, and encourages all Delawareans to get a library card and use it often.	RECOGNIZING LIBRARIES, LIBRARIANS, LIBRARY WORKERS, AND SUPPORTERS OF LIBRARIES ACROSS DELAWARE ON THE OCCASION OF DELAWARE LIBRARY LEGISLATIVE DAY, 2020.
HCR 66	Passed	Bennett	This Concurrent Resolution extends the due date of the Pharmacy Reimbursement Task Force's report to March 31, 2020.	EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE FOR THE PHARMACY REIMBURSEMENT TASK FORCE.
HCR 68	Passed	Minor-Brown	This concurrent resolution designates January 19-25, 2020 as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists' (CRNA) Week in the State of Delaware.	DESIGNATING JANUARY 19-25, 2020 AS CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETISTS' WEEK IN THE STATE OF DELAWARE.
HCR 71	Passed	K. Williams	This Concurrent Resolution recognizes January 2020 as Human Trafficking Awareness Month in Delaware.	RECOGNIZING THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2020 AS "HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS MONTH" IN DELAWARE.
