HA 1 to HB 1	PWB	Carson	This amendment requires the Secretary to seek advice and consent of the Commission on Veteran Affairs in order to establish, consolidate, or abolish divisions and offices within the Department of Veteran Affairs or transfer or combine the powers, duties, and functions of the divisions and offices within the Department of Veteran Affairs.
HA 1 to HB 40	Passed	Griffith	This Amendment makes the effective date of Sections 2 through 4 June 2, 2025.
HB 8	Committee	Wilson-Anton	Twenty-six states presently allow first cousin marriages. No European country prohibits marriages between first cousins. It is also legal throughout Canada and Mexico. This Act amends Delaware’s marriage laws by recognizing a valid marriage obtained or recognized outside Delaware, between first cousins, as a valid and legal marriage in Delaware.	AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 13 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO MARRIAGES.
SB 45	Committee	Mantzavinos	This bill adds a new crime of application insurance fraud under the criminal code to include fraudulent statements submitted in support of an application to obtain or renew insurance or made for purposes of obtaining a commission or other payment from an insurer. This bill makes application-related insurance fraud a class A misdemeanor unless the benefits wrongfully obtained or sought to be obtained is at least $1,000, in which case application insurance fraud is a class G felony.	AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO INSURANCE FRAUD.
SA 1 to SB 43	Stricken	Mantzavinos	This amendment makes a technical correction to the definition of State HVACR License and adds the 2/3 vote requirement to the enactment clause that is noted in the bill’s synopsis.
