AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO EXCEPTIONAL PERSONS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §3124(a) of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by replacing the number "4" in the first sentence thereof with the number "3".
Section 2. Amend §3138(a)(4) of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by inserting the word "business" between the number "5" and the word "days".
Section 3. Amend §3138(a)(5) of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by deleting paragraph (5) in its entirety and substituting the following in lieu thereof:
"(5) Obtain a written or, at the option of the parents, electronic verbatim record of the hearing, at public expense;".
Section 4. Amend §3138(a)(6) of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by inserting the words "or, at the option of the parents, electronic" between the word "written" and the word "decision".
Section 5. Amend §3142(a) of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by replacing the number "30" in the second sentence thereof with the number "90".
Section 6. This Act is effective 10 days after its enactment into Law.
