SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE DELAWARE NURSING HOME RESIDENTS QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMISSION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §7907(a), Title 29, Delaware Code by deleting the phrase “of 10 members,” as it appears therein, replacing the period at the end thereof with a semicolon and by adding thereto the following:
“(4) One member of the Long Term Care Association appointed by the Speaker of the House;
(5) One member of the Hospital Association appointed by the President Pro Tem of the Senate.”
Section 2. Amend §7907(b), Title 29, Delaware Code by deleting “5 but no more than 6” as it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof “6 but no more than 7”; by deleting “4, but no more than 5” as it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof “5, but no more than 6”.
