AN ACT TO AMEND AN ACT BEING CHAPTER 170, VOLUME 57, LAWS OF DELAWARE, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REINCORPORATE THE CITY OF LEWES", TO AMEND SECTION 7, "MANNER OF HOLDING ANNUAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION", BY CORRECTING THE REFERENCE TO ELECTION DISTRICT FOLLOWING REDISTRICTING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):
Section 1. Amend Section 7, Chapter 170, Volume 57, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by amending as follows:
“Section 7. MANNER OF HOLDING ANNUAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION be and is hereby amended by striking the phrase ‘Third Election District of the Thirty-Seventh Representative District of Lewes’ and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase ‘Eighteenth Senatorial District and the Third Councilmatic District of’.”.
