AN ACT MAKING A SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION TO THE FAMILY COURT TO PAY WAGES PAST DUE FRANCINE GRITZ.

WHEREAS, it is the intention of the State Merit System of Personnel Administration to deal fairly and equitably with all State employees; and WHEREAS, the personnel Commission of the State of Delaware in an opinion dated August 29, 1974, ordered that Francine Gritz be promoted to pay grade 24, step 4 effective upon the date of her transfer to Family Court; and

WHEREAS, the Family Court of the State of Delaware had reverted its salary funds for the fiscal year 1974 and was therefore unable to pay Mrs. Gritz' retroactive salary; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Gritz was performing the functions of the job to.which she had been promoted.

NOW, THEREFORE:

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Delaware:

Section 1. The sum of $133.72 is appropriated to the Family Court of the State of Delaware to pay wages due Francine Gritz for fiscal year 1974.

Section 2. This Act is a supplementary appropriation and the money appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of funds in the General Fund of the State of Delaware not otherwise appropriated.
