CHAPTER CCXLIII
AN ACT in relation to Illegitimate Children.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met, That when an born person dies intestate and without lawful issue, his property, real and personal, if any such there be, shall pass, and belong to the mother, if living, and in case of her death to her lawful issue share and share alike, subject always to her payment of debts and demands against such illegitimate person or persons, and to, expenses of administration.
SECTION 2. Be it further enacted, That this act shall apply to all cases that have heretofore happened, where proceedings in relation to the disposition of such property has not been taken under Chapter 82 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Delaware.
