CHAPTER 248.

FEES OF PUBLIC OFFICERS.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 156 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

That Chapter 156 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware be and the same is hereby amended by the insertion of the following section, to be styled 4865, Section 18.

4865 Section 18. All constables appointed or hereafter to be appointed outside of the City of Wilmington and south of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal in the State of Delaware shall be paid mileage at the rate of five cents per mile both going and corning in all cases where constables now receive mileage.
