AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 26 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATED TO PUBLIC UTILITIES AND TERMINATIONS OF SERVICE OR SALE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §117(d), Title 26 of the Delaware Code by inserting the word “signed” before the word “statement”.
Section 2. Amend §117(d), Title 26 of the Delaware Code by adding the following sentence at the end thereof:
“Signed statements from a licensed physician or accredited Christian Science practitioner obtained pursuant to this section are effective for 120 days. Signed statements may be renewed by means of a new signed statement to prevent termination.”
