Section 1. Amend §8507, Title 29 of the Delaware Code by re-designating said section as §8736, Title 29 of the Delaware Code.
Section 2. Amend newly designated §8736, Title 29 of the Delaware Code by striking the word “Labor” wherever it appears therein and substituting the word “State” in lieu thereof.
Section 3. To the extent that they may be under the administrative control of the Department of Labor as of the effective date of this Act, the staff of the Office of the Commission for Women are transferred to the Department of State for budgetary and administrative purposes. Such employees shall be deemed to be employees of the Department of State with all benefits they may have accrued in the classified service as of the effective date of this Act..
