CHAPTER 56.

OF VALUATION OF PROPERTY.

AN ACT to Exempt from Taxation the Lands, Tenements and Property of Corporations Organized for the Use of the Deaconesses of Any Church of this State.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

Section 1. That the lands, tenements and property, not exceeding in value in any one instance the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars, of all incorporated homes or associations maintained by charity for the use of the deaconesses of any church in this State, shall be exempt from all taxes, assessments, burdens or impositions for County and Municipal purposes.

Section 2. All acts or parts of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
