CHAPTER 59

OF NOTARIES PUBLIC AND COMMISSIONERS OF DEEDS

AN ACT to amend Chapter 30 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Delaware relating to Notaries Public and Commissioners of Deeds.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Chapter 36 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Delaware be and the same is hereby amended by striking out the word "seven" in the second line of said Section and inserting in lieu thereof the word

"four."

SECTION 2. That said Chapter 36 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Delaware be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out all of Section 6 of said Chapter after the word "fidelity" in second line of said Section and inserting in lieu thereof the following : "and the said Notaries shall each pay to the Secretary of State for the use of the State a fee of Six dollars and the said Commissioners shall each pay to the Secretary of State for the use of the State a fee of ten dollars."
