NOTARIES PUBLIC
AN ACT in relation to Notaries' Public fees in administering and certifying under hand and notarial seal, oath or affirmation for motor vehicle registration and operators license.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
Section 1. That Notaries' Public fees for administering and certifying under hand and notarial seal the necessary oaths or affirmations to an applicant for the registration and titling of a motor vehicle and the necessary operators license, including every application desired for a family license to operate, shall not exceed fifty cents for the first certification and twenty-five cents for each additional certification, pro- vided, the entire notary fee for one family for a family license shall not exceed one dollar.
Any Notary Public charging, demanding or receiving a violation misdemeanor greater fee for the service herein specified, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction be fined a sum not greater than two hundred dollars or imprisoned for a period not longer than six months, in the discretion of the Court.
