LEVY COURT OF SUSSEX COUNTY
AN ACT to Amend Chapter 43 of the Revised Code of the State of Delaware, relating to the Levy Court of Sussex County, by authorizing the Levy Court of Sussex County to appropriate money to the Fire Company at Georgetown, Delaware.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:
Section 1. That Chapter 43 of the Revised Code of the 85A, Revised Code State of Delaware as heretofore amended, be, and the same Amended is hereby further amended by adding at the end of said Chapter, a new Section as follows:
"1097A. Section 85A. Fire company at Georgetown, for Fire Company at Delaware; the Levy Court of Sussex County is hereby authorized to appropriate to the Georgetown Fire Company, at Georgetown, Delaware, if they deem it proper, the sum of Amount' Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to be used together with funds of the said fire company in the purchase of a fire engine; and the said Levy Court is further authorized to appropriate from year to year such sum of money for the maintenance and upkeep of fire equipment of said Fire Company as the said Levy Court may deem proper, not exceeding however the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) in any one year.
