This Amendment increases the length of time for a temporary registration plate from 60 days to 90 days from date of issue or until issuance of a permanent registration. The Amendment keeps a temporary registration plate for a certified repair technician to 60 days to allow the technician to operate a vehicle with expired registration in order to verify repairs.
