CHAPTER 40.

OF CONSTABLES.

AN ACT allowing an additional Constable in Christiana Hundred, in New Castle County.

Be it-enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Delaware in General Assembly met:

SECTION I. That the Levy Court of New Castle County be and they are hereby authorized and required to appoint an additional constable in New Castle county, who shall reside in the town of Newport, Christiana hundred, in said county. The office of constable hereby created shall continue until this act shall be repealed, and the appointment thereto shall be made and vacancies filled as provided by the laws and constitution of this State.
